EMS training of the neck muscles

The neck muscles consist primarily of the trapezius muscle, which is also called the hood muscle because of its shape and position. The muscles in the neck area are responsible for our ability to turn our heads, raise our arms higher than shoulder height, support our shoulders when lifting loads, and also our posture. Due to the constant strain in everyday life, it makes sense to integrate the neck muscles into your personal training plan.

Neck pain or neck tension is one of the most common complaints. They are often caused by sitting down for a long time and one-sided movements of the head, for example when working on a computer. Neck training can make a valuable contribution to preventing neck pain and muscle tension in the neck, because a well-trained muscle area is less susceptible to injuries. Since the neck is in close relation to the head, cervical spine, back and other parts of the body, this is especially important in this case.

We would like to show you here how you can train your neck muscles with EMS in combination with conventional exercises without dumbbells. We have selected a special exercise for you that you can do both without and in combination with EMS. You do not need dumbbells or other machines for this, household weights are sufficient. With the EMS device from axion, you can support neck training with electrical muscle stimulation.
